Kim Horrell Kim Horrell, Class of 2014, was selected to be an athletic trainer for the football team. You will see her on the sidelines of every game! And proud Mom and Dad are enjoying the seeing the games from behind the team bench.

Elizabeth Baker Elizabeth Baker is a proud Aggie, class of 2015.  She spent last summer in Nicaragua as a Supervisor for Amigos de las Americas.  She is a member of the Cornerstone program and was lucky to win a Houston Aggie Mom’s scholarship.  Thank you.  I need to brag on one of her many accomplishments.  She is featured in this publication which details the anniversary of Cornerstone along with her friend and mentor, Don Curtis (DC), Dean of the Cornerstone program.  Lizzie is an International Studies and an Economics major.  DC recently asked her to pursue the Harry S. Truman
scholarship which pays for a large portion of tuition for graduate school and she will be one of 4 Aggies nominated by TAMU to apply for this scholarship. We are so proud of her.  Please visit the attached link to see her picture and read more about her developing story.

Howdy Aggie Moms, last night I was honored and very surprised by the Houston Area Association for Bilingual Education (HAABE) by being named the Houston Independent School’s District’s Bilingual Teacher of the Year! I was very happy to share this award with my family and with all the students that I have taught for the past 33 years!
Michael Howdy Aggie Moms – just wanted to share some news. My son Michael, Class of 2011, was accepted to the masters programs at both The Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A & M and to The LBJ School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas. It was a tough decision but he has decided to attend The LBJ School. I now understand those of you that live in a divided house. LOL I am very proud of my Aggie Son!
